We need to know what we want before we start so we can analyze effectively what each organization will require in the following areas. Be clear about what you want. We can build a plan for anything but you must be sure as to the goals you are after.

You should always partner with a consulting organization that is aligned with your goals. For example if you do not have a similar stake holding in the outcome their destination and yours will not be the same.

Spend the time to understand the extent of the challenge. We must have a solid grasp of the problems before we can have a solid grasp of the solution. We can provide a detailed feasable outline before so that we are all aligned on the same path way.

Absolute commitment to the process is a must. Without this you will not succeed. The first six months are always the worst six months and change is always difficult, so accept this and begin to prepare. Your unwavering commitment at this stage will dictate success later.
